I was in Dyersville, Iowa this week to pick up items at First Gear / DCP, Tomy / Ertl, and SpecCast.  When I left home Wednesday morning, it was 42 degrees.  I got to Iowa Wednesday afternoon, and it was 12 degrees above zero.  I came out of the hotel Thursday morning, and it was 9 below zero.  Needless to say, that was a shock to the body!  Even with the cold temperatures, the farm toy / toy truck hobby is hot with new products.  The following nine First Gear / DCP 1/64 scale items became available November 2021 and...

The Christmas season is here!  After dropping off packages to be shipped the other night, Alissa and I drove a road home where we could see some houses decorated with Christmas lights – and we weren’t disappointed!  We concluded that we needed a bumper sticker on our car that says, “I brake for Christmas Lights”!
