I first of all would like to welcome everyone back to BFT, LLC blog! It has been a while since we have been home long enough to post a blog, but at the same time it was great to be on the road meeting fellow collectors and dealers. The 2019/2020 farm toy season is in full swing now, and I would like to thank everyone that has stopped by to see us at our August/September shows. We are preparing for our only October show this weekend in Van Wert, OH, so if you are in the area please stop by the show to say hello and enjoy looking at/purchasing farm toys and related items.
We have been restocking the website as well as removing sold out items. We will be posting new items in the upcoming weeks, so please feel free to check with us to see our latest items for purchase at www.burnettfarmtoys.com.
We have a few new farm toys in stock along with several new DCP/First Gear items. We have also been cleaning out the warehouse (my Mom and Dad’s basement, at least for now) to pull some collection items to have for sale also. We purchased one collection this week and will be purchasing another collection later this month, so please check us out at upcoming November/December shows to see those items.
Our latest release from DCP/First Gear are KW W900L day cabs with 3- bay Heil pneumatic tankers along with KW W900L tri axle day cabs with Renegade machinery trailers. These items are in stock and ready for purchase. The next release (that was delayed from August) will be Pete 379 tri axle 63” flattop sleepers with heavy haul lowboys, and those will be available later this month. We have a few in stock now for purchase at shows, and the balance of the run will be for sale by our dealers and through our website later in October.
We are still in the planning/permits stage of the BFT, LLC retail/wholesale facility, so please feel free to check back for more updates as they become available.
I once again would like to thank everyone for visiting our website as well as seeing us at shows! Happy Farm Toy Collecting!!!
Christopher Burnett, Owner
P.S. As you can tell from my title, we are not even in a presidential election year yet and there are already campaign ads everywhere you look. I joked with my DCP/First Gear sales rep. Tom this week about campaign slogans, so I referenced one to him. With some modifying by each of us, I have decided the campaign slogan should be: Making America Great, One Farm Toy at a Time!
